Accounts Assistant required to join a friendly growing Accountancy firm based in UK on a full-time basis, permanent basis working 39.5 hours a week. 

Essential requirement:

• Minimum AAT level 3 qualified or qualified by experience, ACCA part qualified
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-managing, organized, methodical, and able to work to deadline
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel, SAGE, QuickBooks, and Xero. Knowledge of Receipt Bank would be an advantage but not essential.
• Payroll and auto enrollment experience would be an advantage but not essential

Your main responsibilities as an Accounts Assistant will include:

• Preparation of management accounts, annual accounts for small limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders from manual and computerized reports
• Prepare corporation tax returns and business tax computations for review it is not essential as training is provided in this area
• Prepare basic personal tax returns for review
• Prepare VAT returns
• Undertake bookkeeping duties on behalf of clients
