The Afiniti Creative Team takes on a multitude of work, therefore you need to have an in-depth understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.   However, we are not looking for simple design technician, you need to also have your finger on the pulse of what is changing the world of design.  Afiniti is not a follower, it is a leader, and part of this role will be defining how companies articulate the world of AI in business.  The best candidates would share creative with their team on a daily basis, be ingesting at least an hour of content a day and iterating and drawing something new for the team regularly to maintain personal and collective creative potency.

This role involves being a design leader, working closely with the Afiniti Creative Leadership, but your own speciality will focussing on driving the Afiniti design using animation and moving assets.

-    Lead on design projects, working closely with the Creative Leadership, from conception to delivery

-    Create outstanding 3D Animations of assets that can describe Afiniti’s unique business and products

-    Work closely with the Creative leadership to push the boundaries of what the Afiniti brand is doing in the industry

-    Work to a brief as well as the ability to create you and your teams own briefs

-    Lead and/or design more traditional corporate collateral assets

-    Develop new ways to articulate corporate collateral

-    Mentor other artists in various areas of animation development and provide a wealth of knowledge to the Afiniti creative team.

-    Have strong opinions based on design experience, but be open to development and discussion.

-    Refine individual assets and build up a library of video animations, designs, animations, gifs, treats etc.

-    Apply some creative thinking, refining how Afiniti articulates itself graphically.

-    Support Creative Leadership and in the execution of the visual direction.

-    Increase user friendliness in all products, from traditional UI to animation assets.

-    Maintain brand consistency throughout all projects

-    Liaise with the Creative team to ensure deadlines are met

-    Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

Qualifications

-    7+ years proven commercial experience as an Animator, Senior Designer or similar.

-    A unique portfolio that sets you apart from the competition - that proves you are a creative leader not a follower.

-    Fluency with the whole Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.

-    Expertise of Adobe After Effects, Principle or similar.  (Maya 3-D, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D)

-    Ability to review creative and identify areas which can be improved by animated assets.

-    Drive the use of animation for AI brands.

-    Natural creative eye, refined by years of creative research.

-    A daily routine of creative research, including galleries, image searching, asset searching, gifs,  video content, drawing, scribbling, sharing and reflecting etc.

-    Obsessive attention to visual details and design fundamentals.

-    Automatic understanding of how to set up design assets to optimise work.

-    BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field

Fluent in English (written and spoken) and the ability to communicate complex and ephemeral creative ideas simply and clearly to a international creative team.
