Investique is looking for a qualified candidate to serve as an Urban Planning Consultant.  The selected candidate will be expected to leverage their experience in urban/town planning in a major metropolitan area for the infrastructure engagement team in support of long term projects. 

The candidate should be well-versed in all aspects of the planning life cycle from conception to execution, to include multiple years' experience in the town/city planning discipline.

Desired Experience:

• Demonstrated experience on multiple projects for their current organization
• Work with right of way approvals for roads and above and below ground infrastructure
• Planning for utilities to include sewer, water and gas
• Road/Highway planning
• Work with local power company planning for new construction and supplementation of existing power infrastructure
• Work with local telecommunications entities in placing new fiber optic or microwave infrastructure and establishment of cellular tower sites
• Enforcement of proper zoning regulations
• Planning and establishment of mass transit systems to include subway and bus systems
• Enforcement of the planning guidelines set out by the governing body of a project city or town
• Work with contractors, builders, landscapers, pavers, diggers and other entities who may conduct larger scale projets within a city or district
• Execution of risk/gain analysis of proposed infrastructure projects
• GIS software such as ArcFIS and similar systems
• CAD software such as AutoCAD and similar systems
