| Job Description: |
- Placed for 5x Night Duty in a week from 21:00 hrs to 09:00 hrs.
- Handle emergencies at AWT Data Center such as power cut to power room of AWT Data Center.
- Ensure Data Center Services are up/running.
- In case of problem in UPS System he is to be proficient in rectifying the UPS or to restart etc.
- As no generator operator is available at night he is to look after generator functioning and in case of any failure inform electrical supervisor/generator operator. Attain profency on genset/power handling.
- He is to ensure that fire suppression system and smoke detection are properly functioning and that in case of false alarms save fire of auto firing gas cylinder is avoided to avoid expenses refills.
- Ensure that Cameras installed at AWT DC and AWT MIS Dept are functioning all the time of his duty.
- He is to undertake any action ordered in case of emergency.
- In case of requirement he is to be proficient in switching on/off servers/switches/firewall/SAN and other devices installed at AWT DC.
- Detailed SOP, about fire/power emergency has been listed. The Tech is required to act on such event/fire. He remains proficient to handle fire/power emergencies.
- In case of non-availability of staff he is to undertake extra/night duties/weekend/public holidays to meet the main power shuffles.
- He has to be well aware / proficient in MIS SOPs in emergencies.
- He is to ensure all time even if lifts are not available at night to keep generator functioning. He is to check the water/oil/temp level of generator daily on evening and ongoing back and in case the generator run for more than one hour in case when power is disrupted for any hour.
- In case of requirement his services can be used for laying of network infrastructure/cables.
- System/printer/scanners Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting.
- Help desk for OAS/SAP/Custom ERP and other applications at night.
- Printer refilling & services
- Hardware repairing.
- NMS Monitoring.
