| Job Description: |
A manufacturing concern is seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager (DGM) Finance to oversee the company’s financial management, reporting, and strategic planning functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in corporate finance, audit, and internal controls.
Location:
Head Office – DHA Phase 8, Karachi
Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee preparation of financial statements, management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting in line with applicable accounting standards.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
Internal Controls & Compliance
Strengthen internal control systems to ensure transparency, reliability, and audit-readiness.
Implement risk-based financial policies and monitor compliance with statutory regulations.
Lead internal and external audit engagements and coordinate deliverables.
Strategic Finance & Business Planning
Drive financial planning, projections, and scenario analysis for strategic decision-making.
Conduct costing, margin analysis, and pricing strategy formulation aligning with business objectives.
Support corporate financing activities, including securing credit lines and managing banking relationships.
Operational Finance Leadership
Supervise AP/AR, treasury, taxation, and general ledger functions.
Provide guidance to the Accounts & Finance team, ensuring operational efficiency and financial discipline.
Identify process gaps and introduce improvements through automation or workflow enhancement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Chartered Accountant (CA) — completed.
Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in finance, audit, or financial management.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or large-scale corporate environment is preferred.
Strong command over financial reporting, costing, internal audit, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Query).
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
